This is the underlying principle why Paul said to live is Christ and to die is gain. Paul knew that what he did for Christ were not in vain, and leaving this earth is actually what he awaits for. Only because he was connected to Christ, can he claim this. Those who are in Christ can claim this for eternity. In the end, all will agree in what He said, ‘Apart from me you can do nothing.’
