PRAY, GOD KNOWS

Proverbs 16:1 “ To man metformin 500 metformin hydrochloride mg buy belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue.”

Have you experienced planning an activity but God did not allow it to happen? Or maybe you had desires or goals in your life but none of those was given to you? What did you feel when that happened? In life, we will have disappointing moments, difficult situations, and I-don’t-know-what-you’re-doing-Lord scenarios. How should we respond when those things happen?

Over the last two years, our world experienced a lot of calamities that shocked billions of people. The earthquake in Haiti and Chile, the Tsunami in Samoa, the great typhoon that hit our country and flooded cities, and much more has created an uncertainty in the hearts of people. For me, it was a reminded that says, “I am not in control.”

Proverbs 16 verse 1 tells us something very important. And that is, the Lord is in control. The Bible is saying that we can plan all that we want, but God has the final say. Our Lord has authority over what’s happening in our lives and He makes the decision whether our plans will happen or not. If we firmly believe this truth, it will affect our entire prayer life. We will be more prayerful. We will be more dependent on God because we know He has the final say.

This means that…

When we have problems and we don’t know the solution, we should pray because God knows.

When we are sick and we don’t know the cure, we should pray because God knows.

When we are lost and don’t know where to go, we should pray because God knows.

When our plans don’t happen and we don’t understand, we should pray because God knows.

When there is so much work do to and we don’t know how to accomplish it, we should pray because God knows.

And when we don’t know our purpose in life, we should pray because God knows.

Let us always remember that our God has the final say. Therefore, our response should always be…PRAY. GOD KNOWS.
